Adolf Hitler A Terrible Dictator - 1238 Words
Adolf Hitler is seen as one of the most evil men to walk this earth. Deemed a horrible dictator, the millions of deaths under his rule has marked him as the worldââ¬â¢s greatest enemy. The swastika, with the origin a sign of peace, is now seen as sign of hatred and racism. It has been over 60 years since his death and yet we all still know the name and rejoice his demise. There are hundreds of museums and tours around the world to commemorate the victims of his harsh ruling and ideas. We keep this story close to our heart as we hope and pray history does not repeat itself. But we must ask ourselves; how can a man not so different than us turn the world into utter chaos? On April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was born in present day Austria to Alois Hitler and Klara Pà ¶lzl. The fourth of six children, Hitler grew up with a somewhat normal life. Although him and his father didnââ¬â¢t have a good relationship, as Alois often tried to get Adolf into the customs bureau to which Adolf di d not oblige. This disagreement put strain on the relationship and earned young Hitler many beatings. He joined the choir, took singing lessons, and was very outgoing. However after the death of his younger brother, Edmund, Hitler quickly changed from a confident student to a detached young man that often fought his authority. As he grew older his dedication to Germany grew increasingly, he often sang Deutschlandlied instead of his own Austrian anthem.
